Marizanne Le Roux

MazMarizanne, affectionately known as ‘Maz’, started Pole Dance in 2011 amidst a career in FMCG Marketing. She participated in Pole Unity 2011, 2012 and 2013 and has danced and MC’d at Vertical Vixen Showcases and Love Pole 2014 (depending on when post appears). Maz has started expanding to dance at different events and parties whilst completing her Certificate in Exercise Science from the Institute of Fitness Professionals in April 2014. She also completed The Pole Studio’s Beginner 1 & 2 Instructor Training under Tracey Symmonds in April and completed Julie Swart’ Vertical Vixen Beginners Instructor course and practical exams in August/September 2014. She is a certified Group Exercise Instructor with REPSSA. Maz comes from a performing arts background specialising in classical music, musical theatre and drama. She performed with her first Symphonic Orchestra when she was about 10 years of age and continued to compete in numerous National Music competitions until matriculation. She continued on with musical theatre throughout varsity until graduating with an Honours in Corporate Communication Management form the University of Johannesburg (formerly RAU).
